TO MY MAM, MY BEST FRIEND
Not a day goes by that I dont stop awhile and think of you, where would we be going you and me, what would you think of my family now. I love you so much and miss you still.

To My Baghag
Grandma you were, and still are very special to me. It might be because I lived with you as a baby and toddler that I have this bond with you, I don't know. I knew whenever I needed someone to talk to you were there for me. I would phone you up with my 2p at the phone box at the top of Park Road to tell you I was on my way to see you. You loved it when I came as we used to chat about all sorts. I enjoyed our trips out as well, one sticks in my mind of the time we (me, you, mum dad and Luanne) went on a trip to Fleetwood Market. You loved your markets, we took a packed lunch with us, and you made your cornish pasties, Yum Yum they were gorgeous.... You used to have a lot of energy especially when there was a market to conquer, you were in your element, then suddenly all that energy was taken away from you! Soon you could no longer walk around without the use of a stick, this must have mortified you, because not much later you could hardly walk at all. Day in and day out you were confined to the settee in your living room which was now your bed as well. The big "C" had a hold over you and as much as you wanted to be better, you knew in your heart you couldn't beat this thing. Today Grandma I have too many memories of you to ever write into words, those memories of you are in my heart....where they will always stay. In a whole I would say you are the bravest person I have ever known, and thank god I was blessed with almost 14 years with you....... Thank You my "Baghag" for all the love and care you had for me. I Love and miss you so much......
                 Your everloving Grandaughter

A candle for you Grandma
You didn't like flowers because you said "They should be left in the garden where they could grow. "They die when you cut them" you said. Well all these flowers are for you.

A Candle for you Grandma
TO MY DAD
I didn't get to know you like a daughter should, I wish, and I wish, and if wishes could come true I would have grown up knowing my dad. I loved you like every little girl loves their daddy, Until that day you were taken from us, and from that day on I was to remember you more than any other little girl could, because now all I have is the  memories. Like the Elton John song (which has just been playing as if to echo my thoughts)
I WISH I'D GOT TO KNOW YOU BUT I WAS JUST A KID, THE CANDLE BURNED OUT LONG BEFORE YOUR LEGEND EVER DID
I miss you dad.
Love from your daughter

Love Jane your first grandchild
