This site is initially to find people with the surname FAIRER.

My information about the Fairer clock in St.Mary's Church Conwy is incomplete, but research as to its origin is continuing. Results so far indicate that it was made by Joseph Fairer who was born in 1817 and was installed in 1860.

My name is Julie Roberts, and I live Near Manchester England with my husband Jim and have 3 children. I was born in Eccleshill Bradford, and I have 2 brothers, Donald and Brian.

I still have family living in and around Bradford. I went to Hutton school from1962 -1970 then Eccleshill Upper from 1970 - 1974 So if anyone out there remembers us Fairer's please e-mail me.

There is also a Fairer clock at York Railway Museum. If anyone has any information or documentation on these clocks I would be most interested.
